Karst I, layered clays with porcelain surface, 24 cm L x 14 cm H x 10 cm D, £550. Cavin Morris Gallery, New York, USA. Sold.
Like many Artists, I work in Series where ideas and themes are explored through inter-related sculptures. That’s why I will often keep sculptures here for long periods. You can read about them on The Series Explained page.
And there is more specific information about many of these sculptures in the current catalogue. In the Sculpture Garden here at Osprey Studios I set out new work so that I can watch it as well as share it with visitors. During Covid19 the Sculpture Garden and display glass-house, next to the Studio, are ideal for safe visiting in all weathers through an appointment.
Here on this Gallery Page I’m aiming for an overview of the sculptures. I post my favourite pieces when I get descent photos of them. New work is at the top. It is a great place for me to visit if I need to re-connect with the flow of the forms. I hope it does that for you too.
- Choosing or commissioning a sculpture that will genuinely express something about you and your environment is a very rewarding experience. Do feel very welcome to contact me if I can help with it. Some of the Sculptures here in the Gallery are for sale and details about that process are on the Shop page.
- In the USA I am represented by the extraordinary Cavin Morris Gallery in New York City where you will get really interesting, knowledgeable information and service.
- In the UK I am with Cupola Contemporary Art and Oriel Bevan James Gallery where you will be warmly welcomed and supported.
