2013 Studio Sessions at Osprey Studios,Ynyswen.
Monday evenings, Developing Skills and Creativity. 6.30-8.30. £10 + materials. Over 16’s
Sunday afternoons,Join-In Sculpture and clay modelling. 2.00-4.30, £2.50 per 1/2 hour per person. All ages welcome. Under 7’s will need an Adult to join in with them. There are many stunning walks going from the Studio,several excellent Pubs and plenty of safe parking- you could go enjoy your self while the kids are doing clay or stay and join in . Bring a camera to capture the Sculpture because all the clay will be recycled at the end of the Session unless you choose to buy yours (£2 per kg)
In both Sessions you will get expert tuition to guide you to your own style. All abilities /levels of experience welcome; each person will work at their own pace. Max 6 people per class. Phone 01639 731271 / 07913743457 to book your place . Come as often as you want.

For Example;
-I particularly encourage Teacher’s to do a fun ,very straightforward 2 hour Workshop on Using Clay Modelling in School .We’ll cover firing/ self-hardening clays,recycling clay,decorating and controlling costs,everything to help you keep clay in the class room,because it matters!
-A Portfolio Review will clarify the way you see your work in preparation for college applications or a change of direction.
-‘How To ‘classes with technical solutions for challenging projects,especially working on a large scale.
-Join-In Sculpture is great fun and full of learning opportunities.I have done there with adults and children at Events and Parties ; Everyone adds their bit until we have a fabulous sculpture. Photos are taken and then we re-cycle the clay.
This fantastic 3 metre x 2.5 metre painting was done with many kids at the Penrhos Youth Centre over 6 weeks.
Fees;
£25 per hour + 44p/per/mile Travel + materials .On average Individuals will use around £2.00 worth of clay. On many projects , like the Join In Sculptures,all the material is re-clycled so there is no charge for it.
